Erica (Filanc) Tanamachi is an award-winning filmmaker and MFA Cinema graduate of San Francisco State University. She directs, produces and edits documentaries and commercials throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Notably, Erica was also Co-Founder and Creative Director of Christopher Collins, a nationally recognized clothing label that sold to over 100 boutiques nationwide, including Neiman Marcus. Erica received her Bachelor of Arts from UC Davis in English (Creative Writing) and Theater. She also spent a year abroad studying literature and theater at La Universidad de Santiago, Chile. Erica’s an avid fashionista, ultra-runner, iron(wo)man and cargo bike riding mother of two. In her “spare” time, she writes and directs plays for her children’s elementary school classes. With over 15 years of filmmaking experience, Erica has the professionalism, knowledge and creativity to bring your story to life.
