Erica (Filanc) Tanamachi is a bi-lingual award-winning filmmaker and MFA Cinema graduate of San Francisco State University. She directs, produces and edits vérité documentaries, corporate content, conferences and commercials. Notably, Erica was Co-Founder and Creative Director of Christopher Collins, a nationally recognized clothing label that sold to over 100 boutiques nationwide, including Neiman Marcus. Erica received her Bachelor of Arts from UC Davis in English (Creative Writing) and Theater and spent a year studying at La Universidad de Santiago, Chile. Erica’s an ultra-runner, iron(wo)man finisher and cargo bike riding mother of two. With over 18 years of filmmaking experience, Erica has the professionalism, knowledge and creativity to bring any story to life.
